Dr. Filip Miljković holds an MPharm degree from the University of Niš, Serbia and a PhD degree in Computational Life Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) from the University of Bonn, Germany. In 2020, he joined AstraZeneca R&D, Sweden where he currently works as an Associate Principal AI Scientist in Computational Chemistry within the Discovery Sciences. He maintains a close connection to academia through his continued affiliation with his former academic group at the University of Bonn, Germany, and a Visiting Researcher position at Uppsala University, Sweden, where he is currently involved in teaching.

His research interests include chemoinformatics and ML/AI methodologies for medicinal chemistry and chemical biology applications, in particular ML/AI modeling to address DMPK data gaps and molecular property prediction for a wide range of chemical modalities, including small molecules, PROTACs, and peptides.
